What are rare metabolic diseases and just how rare are rare diseases? What is the consequence of lacking enzymes that break down unwanted substances in the body? Come to the next Pharmacy Practice Forum to find out about the rare metabolic disease service provision in the Hospital Authority.

As pharmacists, we all know that Vitamin Ks are co-factors for the production of blood clotting factors. Yet, do the various types of Vitamin Ks serve the same purpose? If not, what are their differences of pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamics? Let’s come and find out together!
