Pharmacy Conference Early Bird Reimbursement

Hello all,
Anyone received those Park'n Shop coupons instead of cash cheques as your early bird reimbursement?
I thought they had said that the $200 would be reimbursed in the form of cash. Those Park'n Shop coupons are actually no use for me and I think I shouldn't be forced to go to that shop.
Is it appropriate to do this?

HK$200 as reimbursement
this is strange, I think there is something wrong here. Please refer to the organising committee for your case. The organising committee did say that it should be HK$200 bank cheque is used as a reimbursement.

The matter was raised to the Organising Committee and it was regretted that this arrangement has caused our participants such inconvenience.
Please would the affected participants wishing to receive the cash cheque submit a mail to newsreporter@shphk.org.hk to make arrangement for the exchange of the gift coupon with the cash cheque.
Again, the Organising Committee wishes to apologise for such inconvenience.
