in retail, salary is abt HK$30,000.
in hospital, the salary depends on the pharmacist's experience. if Resident Pharmacist less than 4 years and with no master degree in clinical pharmacy or equivalent, the employment is only limited as - salary is about HK$32,000. Need to undertake to complete a Master degree within a contract period of 4 years. contract renewal not guaranteed even on completion of Master degree, but definitely no renewal if cannot complete Master degree. Work is busy but rewarding, training program is structured, need to use self money and self time for the Master degree.
If you have 4 years experience or Master of Clinical pharmacy or equivalent, then can be employed as pharmacist, the starting salary is HK$45,000per month inclusive of allowance. Very busy and challenging - many vacancies now.
