Research pharmacy and clinical pharmacy

Hello! I haven got a degree in chemistry in CUHK, but I'm very interested in pharmacy career. I would like to have postgraduate study in research pharmacy; while I have the following concern.

What are the career path difference(s) between research pharmacy and clinical pharmacy? I found clinical pharmacy can work in hospital, but research pharamcy can only work in overseas pharmacy industry.

Can I join the HK pharmacist licensing exam by self-learning? What is the requirment of this exam?
