actigall - gallstone disease!

Have you ever heard about the drug called actigall? My mom has gallstones diseases and she can't undergo surgery due to her age....
I'm really afraid for her and I want to know if she follows the actigall treatment, would she die?? Does she have a chance to survive, will she die? what will happen to her?

Actigall is a drug which can help to dissolve gallstones in the gall bladder. Very often surgery is the best way to get rid of gallstones. But if the doctor thinks your mother is too old or for any reason cannot tolerate the surgical operation too well, he may recommend you to try this drug as an alternative.
However, you should know that the drug does not dissolve the stones right away. It takes time, depending on the size and quantity of the gall stones. And it may be effective in removing certain types of stones only. It may not work for all types of stones.
Please do not worry too much. Your mother is not going to die because of taking this drug. It is not a harmful drug if the doctor thinks it is suitable for her.
