20th Anniversary Heartwarming Stamp

Dear Members,

With your enthusiastic support, SHPHK is approaching the third decade of its establishment. As part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations, SHPHK has issued a “Heartwarming Stamp Mini-pane Commemoration Series” with two different designs. These mini-panes are for the exclusive order by members and will not be made available to the general public. Members could use the stamps as ordinary postage to show the recipients their dedication to the pharmaceutical profession. The pane also serves as a distinctive souvenir decoration when framed and hung on walls or displayed in your office shelf. Of course, it should become a unique memorable piece of your philatelic items too.

Details of the mini-pane:

General layout: 20 no-value-indicator stamps printed with a “Local Mail Postage”(#) indication. To the right of each stamp is a tab printed with SHPHK’s 20th anniversary logo and slogan. In the middle of the pane is a banner printed with our 20th anniversary title, the logo and slogan. (Layout image shown on order form)

Design A: 10 stamps each bearing the “Celebrations” theme icon (with celebratory bottles and glasses graphic design) and “Love and Care” theme icon (with heart shape graphic design).
Design B: 20 stamps bearing the “Love and Care” theme icon (with heart shape graphic design).

The logo and slogan: Designed by Miss Wong Kit-ting, Janet, Year 2 student of Bachelor of Pharmacy, CUHK. She is the winner of SHPHK’s 20th Anniversary Logo and Slogan Design Contest. The fire shape and the torch-shaped ‘20’ symbolized the spirit of SHPHK that would be passed on. The human figure together with the fire (spirit) forms a heart symbolising SHPHK continuing her service and is addressing the future opportunities and challenges.

# The current face value of the stamp is HK$1.40

The selling price for this commemorative mini-pane is only HK$100 each. All proceeds will be directed towards the operations of the Society. We sincerely wish that all members would treasure the unique opportunity to acquire this one-of-a-kind keepsake. Ordering, submission and pick-up details are listed in the order form on the reverse. Please note that the deadline for submission of orders is 30th November, 2007.
