Anything changed in 2 years?

Hi everyone, i posted 2 years ago about the possibilities of working as a pharmacist in Hong Kong.

It was a pretty pessimistic future that was presented to me back then

Has anything changed in the last 2 years?

I will be making the move at the end of this year!

Fingers crossed !

Ive worked in HK for just

Ive worked in HK for just two years so i may be able to tell... i shared the same feeling when i first got home from being a paediatric/neonatal pharmacist in a major london hospital to what i then became. i has never been such an exciting time for us pharmacists in hk - ive seen expanding pharmacists' roles in the hospital sector; clinical pharmacy service has started to grow etc... at this stage it may been pretty primative comparing to practising overseas but image yourself being one of the frontiers who make differences for our profession and bring ever-improving quality pharmaceutical care to the general public would be highly challenging and rewarding.
goodluck, it will be a good move.

Sounds promising

Hi Johnny
thanks for the heads up, sounds like its going the right way. What do you think the differences are working public or private hospitals? it seems mainly the private ones are advertising at the moment.
